Cooperative Membership Agreement
AS A MEMBER I UNDERSTAND THAT:
I must abide by the Bylaws of the Idaho's Bounty Co-op (IBC), soon to be available on our site.
- The success of the IBC depends on member participation, including providing the IBC with a current address. If my account is inactive as defined in the Bylaws, my membership may be terminated.
- Member log in and passwords are provided for my use and the use of my authorized dependents and proxies or affiliated members only.
- If I choose to be a working member, my obligations and discount are determined by the current policy.
- The price of a member share and IBC policies may be changed by the Board of Directors (BOD) as the need arises.
- Patronage dividends are at the discretion of the BOD; only paid-in-full members are eligible to receive them.
- Members delinquent in membership payments may have member benefits suspended.
- Upon notice in writing, I may sell my member share (less any outstanding obligations) back to the IBC.
I am purchasing a share in the Idaho's Bounty Co-op for $75, which entitles me to one vote and the other benefits of membership, so long as I am a member in good standing. Each member share is held individually. All members are equal co-owners of the Co-op. Members are entitled to vote and receive the benefits of membership.
The International Cooperative Alliance, representing cooperatives around the world, approved the following statement in 1996.
