About Us
Located just 35 miles north of Boise, the Church family has stewarded the Church Ranch for three generations.

We raise chickens and ducks for eggs and meat, heritage turkeys and grass-fed calves. We also grow vegetables and herbs. We participate in the Downtown Crouch Farmers Market.

Here at Church’s Backyard Farm we are determined to provide the healthiest, most natural and nutritious products we can, without the use of chemicals, pesticides, hormones, or antibiotics. By using the Holistic Management approach we believe we can provide our community with good, clean, wholesome healthy foods.

Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
All our chickens, ducks, turkeys and calves are raised on fresh green pastures, lots of sunshine, all the bugs they can eat, our own fresh spring water, and local fresh natural grains.

We never use pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers, that’s the livestocks job.

When the poultries are at mature butchering age they are taken down to Home Grown Poultry in New Plymouth where they are processed, inspected and weighed.
