Petra's grew out of a dream to simplify our busy lives and a desire to raise our 3 daughters in a physically and emotionally healthy environment teaching them responsibility and stewardship in daily living. Our small business of goat milk products and farm fresh eggs continues on. Browse through our Products for Sale Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) We raise a small herd of goats for milk and meat. During the summer and fall our goat herd enjoys grazing the certified organic pasture that is right out the backdoor of their barn and during winter and early spring they feast on our organically grown alfalfa. Our flock of colorful free-range chickens enjoy organic alfalfa and barley which is raised on our small farm, along with the weeds from our garden and veggie scraps from the kitchen. They produce a variety of brown, blue, and white eggs that are rich in flavor and have strikingly deep yellow-orange yolks. We take pride in providing simple, pure products for the health and enjoyment of others. Visitors are always welcome. Have you ever milked a goat? Come and give it a try. They live in a large coop and have a roomy chicken park to run in. They are released for several hours on the long summer evenings to roam freely throughout the barnyard.
