They are considered gourmet petite lamb. I give back what they give to me honor and respect. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) I practice holistic and sustainable ways of caring and making their environment safe for all living beings. I don't use pesticides, hormones, herbicides or GMO products. The pasture and their dwellings are well cared for and kept clean and warm. I'm with them daily I can check them for any illness, a hurt hoof or something that looks like I should take an extra look at. They allow me to do this with such trust. The pastures are safe for all. Highlights this Month I have wonderful and colorful yarn, the wool from the sheep is so colorful. The colors are varied and stunning. Put it on your needles, you are left with only your imagination to make beautiful, scarves, sweaters, socks and whatever your fancy desires. |
